THE ANNUAL DUES ARE NOT $50.00 PER YEAR, OR $20.00 PER YEAR BUT ONLY $10.00 PER YEAR AND IF YOU ARE A MEMBER IN GOOD STANDING AND YOU SIGN UP 10 NEW MEMBERS YOU WILL RECEIVE ONE YEAR FREE!
PURPOSE The Delta Pioneers is an organization whose purpose is to promote and maintain contact with longtime friends and co-workers in the Delta family spirit.
FUNCTIONS Local Delta Pioneer chapters meet and plan functions which encourage socializing and volunteering to help others.
Some local ways to volunteer are: ~~ Assist in local blood drives ~~ Assist Delta and Habitat for Humanity in building houses for the needy Annual Events:
Some of the events are:
~~ National Reunion in ATL in the spring (2-3 days) ~~ West Coast Roundup in the fall for all pioneers (sponsor: LAX) ~~ Clambake in the late summer for all pioneers (sponsor: BOS)

~~ A national newsletter at least three (3) times a year. Some chapters also issue their own newsletters.
MEMBERSHIP
Membership is open to:
~~ Anyone who has officially retired from Delta Air Lines. Inc. and their spouse (including retired employees of airlines that were merged with or acquired by Delta Air Lines, Inc. and Connection Carriers owned or operated by Delta), and ~~ Current employees who have worked for Delta or a Delta Connection Carrier for at least 20 years.

Note: If you join a local chapter, $5.00 of your dues will be rebated to your local chapter (if funds are available) to help defray chapter operation costs.
Some local chapters charge additional dues which are retained and used locally.
We encourage you to contact a Delta Pioneer to find out about local chapter meetings, attend a meeting, and then decide if you want to join the Delta Pioneers.
It will be a pleasure to welcome you to the ranks of over 8500 active current members of the Pioneers worldwide so you too can help continue our tradition of "Keeping the spirit alive -- past, present and future."
