Cleared List

The Cleared List is a new section available in DeltaNet and if you have not heard of it, I think you will find the information very current and extremely useful. Maxwell Dieck out of CVG puts the newsletters together and does a fantastic job. Plus, if you have questions and/or comments, he is glad to hear from you and appreciates the feedback! To get there, sign in to DeltaNet: http://dlnet.delta.com

which gives you the Delta Extranet page, click on Retirees

Enter your username (PPR#) and your password (case sensitive).

Now type the cleared list in your DeltaNet home page browser and search.

You should get a display of the monthly newsletters and thus be able to click on each issue. Max just started this travel section last December and does one every month. He has a lot of stuff in there, especially international stuff, and ZED fare info....tons of stuff! Also, if you simply have questions about travel and places, you can e-mail him and he is quick to reply. Here is his e-mail address: Maxwell.P.Dieck@delta.com Check it out as I think you will find it very useful as well as fun to read!

Speaking of ZED fares....kind of a whole new ball game. ZED fares are structured differently than the straight old ID90s, ID75s, ID95s, etc. in that they are based on mileage and point to point to point to point to point! So, the more connecting flights you have, yes, the higher the cost. And you must have a coupon for each segment needed. Online transfer coupons cannot be used to add a connecting point....a new ticket has to be issued. Ticketing is done by one's own carrier so be careful not to get caught in a city that has no Delta ticket counter. Form of payment is only by credit card. Should you need to refund a ZED ticket, please keep in mind they are valid only for 90 days from date of issue. Because the agreement chart is always changing as more and more airlines come onboard, it's perhaps best to know how to get the info out of DeltaNet and here's how..........go into DeltaNet, when you hold your cursor thingy over employee connection you'll get a scroll down menu and click on pass travel. Now move way over to the right side of the Pass Travel page, move down a bit to where it says Interline Travel, and click on ZED Tickets. That's where you'll find the airline agreements, rules for that particular carrier, etc. Most are coach only but you have to check with each carrier. Also watch for dress codes. Delta has no dress code, but many carriers still state business casual for example. Sometimes , yes, we are getting boarded in first class and vice versa, BUT please know that coach is the general agreement. Some airlines have provisions for first but we are to pay that upgrade difference at the time of ticketing if we definitely want first class. When you look at the list, notice you don't see Delta, only other airlines. Delta is definitely a participant. Each other airline person should go to their own carrier to see what it says they can do on Delta. The list keeps growing so please continue to check it out for additions and changes.

How are you on flying free on NWA? Are you good with listing and getting your paper pass issued? We are still in Phase one of the pass integration process between DL and NWA. Paper passes are still needed and are issued by our counter if we wish to fly NWA. Attached are the NWA guidelines for those who wish to print them out.

How are you on default passwords and resetting your password? Let me know if I can help. Most of you by now have your passwords established and you are good to go, but if not, and you need help, let me know and I will give it my best shot to assist!

Please forgive me if this is duplicate info. I know there are tons of places to find information anymore and y'all may be well versed on DeltaNet in which case feel free to use your DELETE button!

One more note.....unfortunately I have lost many, many, many e-mail addresses these past few months due to some computer problems. Sooooooooooo, if you would be so kind as to pass this letter around and if someone out there wishes to be added to my e-mail list, just let me know. Very sorry for the inconvenience!

On a brighter note, hope this finds you all well, in good health, and enjoying the summer. Take care and stay safe!
